　　whenasophomoreijoinedtheassociationofaienthusiastandbegantonarrowdownmyinterestformyfutureresearch.in1997iparticipatedinsimulationtooldevelopmentfortheschedulingsysteminprof.wang’slab.withthetoolofopenglandmatlabidesignedasimulationprogramfortransportationschedulingsystem.itisnowwidelyusedbydifferentresearchgroupsinnust.in1998iassumedandfulfilledasewageanalysis&disposeprojectfornanjingsewagetreatmentplant.thiswasmyfirstpracticetoconvertalaboratoryideatoacommercialproduct.

　　in1999ijoinedthedistinguishedprofessoryu-gengxisresearchgroupaimingatnetworkflowproblemsolvingandheuristicalgorithmresearch.sooniwasengagedinthefudangenedatabasedesign.mydutywastopickuptheusefulinformationamongdifferentkindsofgenematchingformat.throughthecomparisonandanalysisformanyheuristicalgorithmsiintroducedanimprovedevolutionaryalgorithm--multi-populationgeneticalgorithm.byspanidingawholepopulationintoseveralsub-populationsthisimprovedalgorithmcaneffectivelyPventgafromlocalconvergenceandpromotevariousevolutionaryorientations.itprovedmoreefficientlythansgainexperimentstoo.inthesecondsemesterijoinedtheworkshop-schedulingresearchinshanghaiheavydutytyreplant.theschedulingwasdesignedfortherubber-makingprocessthatcoverednotonlydiscretebutalsocontinuouscircumstances.tomakeabalancepointbetweenoptimizationqualityandtimecostiproposedadynamiclayeredschedulingmethodbasedonhybridpetrinets.thepracticalapplicationshowedthattheaveragemakespanwasshortenedbyalargescale.ialsopublicizedtwopapersincorejournalswiththisidea.recentlyiamdoingresearchinthecompositePdictoftheelectricalpowersystemassistedwiththetechnologyofdataminingforbaosteel.itrytocombinethedecisiontreewithrecedingoptimizationtoprovideanewsolutionforthecompositePdictiveproblem.thisprojectisnowunderconstruction.
